Jeeze it's been a minute huh! I know I'm always saying "Oh yeah I'm gonna start being real active here soon so stay tuned etc." Lol, lies. So here's the rundown thus far!

As far as ACTIVITY goes: I WILL still be active here on DA, make no mistake! I check in here frequently to look at new art from artists that I follow and to respond to any messages I receive! I have not made art posts myself recently on the account of me worrying that scans of my doodles and sketches will not look good on this type of platform, THUS I HAVE MADE ACCOUNTS ON A FEW FORMS OF MEDIA that I will be more comfortable posting these "rough drafts" on! It DOES NOT mean that I am leaving DA in any way, shape, or form!! It only means that my more "complete" work will be posted here while my doodles will be posted elsewhere! ((CHECK THE BOTTOM OF THIS JOURNAL FOR LINKS TO MY NEW ACCOUNTS))

As for art school: I GOT IN! I have been accepted and I am officially enrolled into my dream college, Columbus College of Art and Design! I have been through such an emotional rollercoaster to get in and ensure myself a place but by golly I've done it! I cannot believe that it's really happening and that I will soon begin the path to my professional art career! I know that I have been on this site for a relatively long time and that my younger years on here were very... Weird. I do not condone or enjoy really anything that past me had done on this account, which is why I have been working to change that. This art account has gone and will continue to go from completely chaotic to somewhat professional and entertaining (I hope!) With that, I will be trying to update you guys as frequently as I can while I start school (an artist's social media presence is important!)

No! But I did get sucked into the vortex that was and still is my senior year of high school. I have not posted anything lately as I have been profusely busy with my first semester of senior year ((college classes included)) and work. BUT! I have been working on art! I just haven't been posting any! I am going to be applying to a handful of art schools by the end of this month and I could not be more excited and stressed out at the same time! I have been in the intense process of making a sufficient portfolio to send in and I am just a nervous wreck because deadlines are the end of this month and I am still creating a few more pieces for requirements and the like. Anyway, I'll be able to get back into the swing of things once I apply and settle into my easy going last semester of high school ever. So, I'm 18 tomorrow. Whoopee. :bademoticon: 

Tomorrow is my first day of my Junior year in highschool, hopefully all goes well. (Last year I came home and cried because I had been so overwhelmed that day. XD) Anyways, I'm sorry that I have not been very active post-wise, but I have a big piece that I'm going to be posting soon hopefully! (I finally figured out how to do my lineart in Photoshop and get the color in Sai to go under the lineart!) Also, convention-wise, I have been making big big plans to go to ColossalCon next year so I am going for sure! My friends and I will be doing group cosplays and such for all four days of the con so hopefully if you're going you will see me there! I do not yet have an order in which the cosplays will be, but I know for sure that I will be going as Pearl and Ciel! I am in the process of finishing Pearl and hopefully I can get into Undertale in time enough to make a costume! (I want to play the game so dang bad and I don't want to spoil the wonder so I haven't watched any playthroughs!) I may also be doing a Powerpuff Girls cosplay of Bubbles, so hopefully I can get to that! I will also hopefully be going to Zipcon again next year and I will be going as Pearl again but her outfit will be finished as well as her weapon! Well, that's all the news I have for now guys, hopefully the school year doesn't consume me and take me away, but if you don't hear from me for a while I probably got eaten by a bear.

Hey guys, I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner on the whole cosplay and Zipcon information but I've been really busy with school. I did happen to get my Pearl cosplay 99% finished for the convention and I ended up wearing it to the con despite the fact that it didn't have the translucent bit of fabric on the top of the shirt like I had planned to do. I had a really great time at Zipcon, a lot of people were asking me for pictures! I will hopefully be posting a video of the convention soon on my YouTube channel! Also, I will more importantly be posting pictures from the con soon here on DA, I think I may edit some of them first, I'm not sure yet.

Hey guys! I'm sorry that I haven't been very active lately! I've just been very busy! I just wanted to let you guys know that I will be going to Zipcon in a few days in Akron and if any of you guys are going, let me know! I will 98% sure be going as Pearl from Steven Universe! I have been working vigorously on it for the past 2 weeks! I hope that I can finish it! I just have to style the wig and finish a little tiny bit of the shirt! I bought my shoes, bought and cut/hemmed the shorts, made the skirt, made the shirt, made the gem (which will be replaced with a better gem later on because I didn't have enough time to order one and someone will be kind enough to give me their's when they get to the con.) and dyed the socks! It has been a lot of work and also work on medias that I haven't ever really dabbled in all that much! I will post pictures when it is complete! I will also 85% sure that I will be going to Colossalcon this year! I know I've been saying that I will go and I haven't gone, but I'm saving up my money to go so hopefully I can go for at least two days this year!
