Galaxite

AFTER FOUR YEARS. IT'S DONE. No seriously though, this literally took me four years to get to. This was part of an art trade with my friend withery from a loooooooooooooooooong looooooooooooong time ago. She did this adorable little picture cartoonsforever.deviantart.com… almost half a decade ago for me as part of an art trade back in my fetus days of DeviantArt when little me was really annoying and gross and didn't know ANYTHING about art. Or the principals of art trading.    And of course. Me being me. I never returned the favor like I was supposed to.   Now the thought of drawing her part of the request did happen to pop in my mind a few times and I would feel really bad and try to ask her for forgiveness but I didn't.  But let me tell you a thing. The summer of 2015 came along last year and near the end of it I just so happened to be looking at old requests people had drawn for me and gifts and stuff, and then there it was. Again. That cute, adorable little art trade sittin' all by its lonesome staring me straight in the anxiety.  And I said. "You know what? I finally have some time on my hands." (In all honesty, I put this off for so long because (1) I kept forgetting (2) I was too busy or (3) I would try to do it but would fail. So. I decided to contact withery and tell her that I was ready to fulfill my end of the bargain. Thankfully she graciously accepted my apology and asked me to draw one of her gemsonas, Galaxite. Now. You would think. That after four. Freaking. Years. AND an apology and renewal of the art trade. I would have done it right then and there. I didn't. Like the little piece of garbage I am.  And I had NO time to work on it once school started back up. So. It sat in the back of my mind for months. BUT. Here it is! I've finally done it! I had some free time yesterday and I decided to finally do it. So here you are withery, and happy birthday! I really, really hope you like it! Thank you so much for tolerating my terrible delay to get this to you.

    (Side note: Although this trade was done really really really late, I'm actually kind of glad I did it this late. I have matured and developed 100x better as an artist than from what I used to be, so I'm sort of glad that I can produce something much much better for you withery than what my skills used to extend to.)
